Hello everybody, it’s sad for me to say that this will be the final blog day. I wanted to start by thanking everyone who contributed to my story, it helped me get further into my project and I really appreciate it. 🙂
Okay! Let’s start by saying I learned a lot from this two week challenge, about writing and about myself. One thing I suspected from the beginning was that this project was going to be difficult, which it was. To be honest, I should’ve worked more on my story, there were a couple days I just skipped working on it all together which I am not to proud of. Now I’m, starting to wonder if I would be further in my story had I worked on this everyday. Obviously I would. But, I will try not to beat myself up about it. As Edna Mode says, “I never look back, darling. It distracts from the now”. I hope you are all Incredibles fans because if you aren’t, I’m very disappointed in you. As I said before, I learned a lot about myself from this project. First of, I am a major procrastinator. I mean seriously, I need some help with this issue. I guess it’s more of a laziness thing, but I’m not going to get deeper into that. Secondly, I learned if I tried my hardest, I would finish a chapter or two in my story. I’m proud to say I have finished twelve pages and six chapters. Alas, writing for two weeks has sadly not gotten me to my major goal. I was expecting to finish a story but ended up making it to one of last chapters. Technically I have one more day to finish it, and even if I didn’t, I would still get the last couple chapters done. If I had a second chance to do this over again, I would take things more seriously and push myself harder. I really enjoyed this project. By pushing me, it resulted in almost finishing a story which is really important. I think I will start doing these challenges more often to break my comfort zone a little and prepare me more for the real world.
From one of the previous blogs, I stated I would post my story. I am really nervous about posting it because my writing is very personal to me. If you have any comments about how I can edit it, I would lovvvveeeee them! Also, this won’t be my full amount of work because I didn’t like the last chapter as much as the others.
