Hi! Welcome back! It’s been a couple days since the last blog entry and I want to catch you up on what’s going on.
So, turns out writing for two week straight makes me a total procrastinator, the sad part is I saw it coming. I guess I just know myself too well. I have come further in my piece, definitely not as far as I wanted to get done but I did get 1,309 words written. Also, between yesterday and Tuesday I managed to get around two to three pages done. About the show I wrote about last blog post, I got very into it-a little too into it but I won’t speak of that. I have to say, if you have to mute the volume just so you don’t grip on to your seat as much, the show is probably not a good fit for you. But, nonetheless I watch it. I was a bit taken aback by one of the last shows (I haven’t been counting so sorry for being so brief). One of my biggest fear is suffocation, I know nobody likes it and it’s not a party, but it REALLY scares me. So when one of the shows had-I’m trying to find a way to not spoil this-suffocation, I completely freaked. If you’re like me but less stupid, I would recommend finding another show. I have decided to publish my book once I finish it. It’ll just be a published copy for me because it’s not my best work. I am proud of myself, not to gloat, but finishing a book in two weeks is not easy and I feel like I’m crushing it! Also, to be completely honest, I have never actually finished a story so this is a big break for me. Yesterday, (or it may have been a couple days ago, I apologize for the inconvenience), I read some of the class’s blog posts. All the ones I read sparked my attention, from a walk everyday, to trying yoga all week, or even wearing makeup. They were all very interesting and I can’t wait to see more!
I hope you all have an amazing rest of your week and a great weekend. If you have any story suggestions to kick Writer’s Block in the butt, I would love to hear them. Or if you have recommendations for good science fiction shows to spark my attention, any tips on ending a story, or just want to chat, leave a message in the comments. 🙂
Also, special thanks to Nicky and Daniel for editing my story a couple days ago. I loved hearing points of view other than my own to make my story better 🙂
